Introduction

It’s a Tuesday night, mid-term in any Australian home with teenagers at high school. It is almost as if I can hear what is being said out in the atmosphere.

“What do you mean it is due on Friday?” followed by “You’ve had this for 6 weeks and you are only starting it now?”.

Another question you may have even said yourself “How are you going to do a 6 week science experiment when it is due in 3 days and you haven’t started?”. These questions are surrounded by a cloud of frustration, anger, helplessness, disappointment and sometimes rage. This is not positive, and we know it is ineffective.

"I am fed up screaming at the kids for not doing their homework."

This e-book is a guide for parents to stop telling (and yelling) and s tart coaching their young adults .
